Giro cycling shoes are designed for adventures. These machined steel toe spikes are designed for easy installation and match perfectly to Giro shoes, so you can keep moving when faced with the harshest conditions. Stainless Steel toe spike set with custom Giro wrench. Works with all Giro toe spike-compatible MTB shoes and most toe spike-compatible MTB shoes from other brands.

For the toe spike installation, use a torque setting maximum of 41-52 in. lbs. (5-6 N m).  Do not overtighten the toe spikes!  Giro Toe Spikes are shipped with thread lock already on, but if reapplication is needed we recommend Loctite 243 medium strength (blue) thread locker.  Always replace shoe cover bolts when not using toe spikes to prevent thread contamination.  Take care on hard surfaces with toe spikes installed as metal toe spikes can be slippery on rock or concrete surfaces.
